Apart from being a member of the British Royal Family and a grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and the fact that he is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne; He is also Commonwealth Youth Ambassador as well as President of African Parks. Wildlife Conservation and Tourism Prince Harry has a long history supporting conservation and humanitarian efforts across Africa and as earlier mentioned, he is also President of African Parks- a Wild life Conservation Group. PROVINCIAL INVESTMENT AND TOURISM EXPOS: A CATALYST OF THE PF MANIFESTO TOWARDS THE ATTAINMENT OF 7NDP AND VISION 2030 By Sunday Chilufya Chanda With his eyes firmly  fixed on Vision 2030 to turn Zambia into a strong, dynamic and prosperous industrial Middle-income Nation By 2030, President Edgar Lungu at the helm of the Patriotic Front Government, is firmly on course to economic diversification, industrialisation and value addition, by opening up the entire nation to domestic and foreign direct Investment. At the heart of the Patriotic Front Government’s development planning is the effort to undertake economic diversification programmes that ensure that the country moves away from being dependent on the extractive industry sector. One innovative way this is being done is through the hosting of Provincial Investment Expositions (expos). WE ARE A COUNTRY OF LAWS AND NOT OF MEN: RESPECT FOR THE COURTS BY ALL IS RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW BY ALL By Sunday Chilufya Chanda The conviction of Mr Gregory Chifire on four counts of contempt of court for interfering with the judiciary should serve as a stark reminder on the need for all to respect the courts. The word “Contempt” in its ordinary every day usage denotes the feeling that a person or a thing is worthless or beneath consideration. In related legal parlance “Contempt” is the offence of being disobedient to or disrespectful of a court of law and its officers. Contempt of court is thus contempt of the judiciary which is ultimately contempt for the rule of Law. Respect for the Judicial authority vested in the courts is indispensable for the maintenance of the Rule of Law, and all regardless of political affiliation and socio-economic standing therefore have a duty to respect the independent decision-making authority of the Judiciary. Sadly, there...

THE RAYS OF POSITIVE DEVELOPMENTS FOR ZAMBIA SHINE THROUGH THE DARK CYNICISM, FAKE NEWS AND ILL WILL OF THE ENEMIES OF PROGRESS By Sunday Chilufya Chanda No matter how hard evil tries, it can never quite match up to the power of Good, because evil is ultimately self-destructive. Toxic people may set out to corrupt others with their ill-will, cynicism, and falsehoods, but in the process their malice corrupts and short circuits itself. Although it is generally perceived that conflict in life is between good and evil; it could be said that the real conflict is between truths and lies. Thankfully, the truth always prevails over lies just like a ray of light from even the smallest candle prevails over the gloom and darkness of a thousand nights. The incandescence of multiple rays of the unstoppable light of truth is shining through the darkness of the fake news and misinformation fabricated by the Habitual Hoax. There are multiple positive tidings emanating from within ...

LIES ABOUT ZAFFICO: THE DESPERATE DRIVELS OF A DODO By Sunday Chilufya Chanda It is over a decade since UPND Leader Mr Hakainde Hichilema assumed leadership of the UPND in a well-documented tribally inclined hostile takeover in 2006. Since then, Mr Hichilema has attempted 5 Presidential elections and he has been resoundingly rejected in all of them, getting as low as 18% of the vote in some. The desperation of Mr Hakainde Hichilema is becoming more and more toxic to say the least; it reeks. His desperation is driven by two major factors: 1.Possible “Nkongole”. (High Debt Burden) Clearly those that have invested in UPND and his failed political career need better results than the losses he's been giving them. Him and the Party he leads are behaving as though they are under extreme pressure from their "foreign financers" who have an interest in taking over Zambia’s National Resources. It would not surprise us if Mr Hichilema owes them too much and...
